excited to get Corum 101.251.90/E040PN54 Watch involved

I was honored, of course, and excited to get Corum 101.251.90/E040PN54 Watch involved. The question I had to ask myself was "what was important to the watch world but simply wasn't going to get covered in the mainstream press?" The newest releases from Hublot certainly would, the iPod Nano as a watch would, and of course the passing of Hayek. When I thought of our most recent work and what people seemed to respond to the most, I was left with one resounding answer; Bond, James Bond.

The printed arabic numerals are set off by the outlined numbers '12', '3' and '9'.The minutes chapter is railroad style. The subsidiary seconds dial features a replica Breitling Windrider Chronomat watch sunken center with concentric guilloche. The original sword style hands are perfectly blued, as is the seconds hand. With so many interest characteristics already, it would seem impossible for the dial to be any cooler.but it gets better -- the dial finish is very glossy, almost to the point of having a mirror effect. This watch is very small, at 28mm, which is appropriate for watches of this time period.

The Rolex Pre-Daytona used in the filming of the Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" had seemed to awaken the watch collecting community, and while the real Corum 373.515.20/V810 BN75 Men's watc world is heavily invested in the sale of provenance-driven pieces like this, few mainstream outlets cover it.So, Matthew Bain's wonderful find was it.To read my article on the recently suced Rolex Pre-Daytona used in the filming of On Her Majesty's Secret Service on The Financial Times's How to Spend It, click here.
